Sydney Region Film programs provide students and teachers K-12 with opportunities to participate in key film events.

Sydney Region Making Movies

Making Movies is a non-competitive project designed to offer K – 12 students the opportunity to make a video, on any topic, in a creative and collaborative process.

The project provides skills development, performance and exhibition opportunities that are not available at the individual school level.

It allows students from Kindergarten to Year 12 to become involved in the process of making a three-minute video using a medium that offers substantial opportunities for student engagement.

The collaborative process of making a video will enable students and teachers to achieve key learning outcomes in ways that are interesting, innovative and creative.
